They've harnessed the vocal magic of Rachel Wallace, whose voice you must have heard on dancefloors around the place over the last two decades! Tell Me Why was arguably her biggest track of the 1990s, and just a couple of years ago she joined up with MC Skibadee and the aweome Erb N Dub on All Of My Junglists! (Videos for both of these tracks can also be found further down this post).
Back to the present day and this week's release of Can't Go Back by Austin & Vinyl Junkie, featuring Rachel Wallace. The guys have combined forces to generate a track that sounds both retro and bang up to date at the same time, and they've enlisted some quality remixing talent as well!
Have a listen to all 6 versions of Can't Go Back right here and let us know what you reckon. We're sure you'll agree that the Sanxion remix is the stand-out ball-breaking remix above all the others! It's a mix of dubstep/drumstep filth that'll have you chewing on yourself within seconds - proper stuff! The other reworks all bring their own style into the mix as well, we particularly like the ravey/garagey old school vibe on the Strange Rollers remix!
You can buy all the individual versions here on Juno.
Here's the bang tidy video for the Sanxion remix, and a brand new mixtape of utter dirt from the filthy fella too (it's a FREE DOWNLOAD!)!! Enjoy! Don't forget to scroll down for that playlist of 100 greatest drum n bass tracks and the Rachel Wallace vids too!
