Best Track
There are some seriously big hitters in this category, but there was only one tune for us last year, the phenomenal Hold Me Now by Retropolis! This track has everything!
Retropolis - Hold Me Now
We were (understandably) also massive fans of :
A.Skillz & Krafty Kuts - Tricka Technology 2013
Deekline - Good Life
Dubaxface - Push It
Marten Horger - LGFU
The Hustle & Mafia Kiss - All My People
Best Remix
So many great remixes it's hard to choose, but we'll definitely be giving our vote to one of these bad boys!
Deenk - Open Your Mind [Too Dusty Remix]
Freerange DJs - You Won't Find Me [Electric Soulside Remix]
Krafty Kuts - Feel Like Jumping [Krossbow Remix]
Slamboree - Cheeky Peepers [Deekline Remix]
Best Album
So much funk was flung in 2013 that this is going to be another hard-fought category! These 3 were in constant rotation at Funk and Filth HQ, so we'll be voting for one of these:
Dancefloor Outlaws - Delusions of Grandeur
Mooqee - Bass Funk Vol 1
Pimpsoul - Funk & Beats Vol 1

Strong performances from a diverse array of labels . . . I think Hot Cakes just edge it though! Awesome work all round from loads of labels, but especially:
Bombstrikes
Diablo Loco
Elektroshock
Funkatech
Hot Cakes

Best DJ
This is virtually impossible to choose from! The world of breaks is crawling with epic DJ talent! This is the short list fighting it out for our vote:
A.Skillz - current title holder and consistently awesome funk flinger!
Ben & Lex - the filthiest duo on the planet? We think so!
Deekline - the legend himself! Can't wait to see what he's going to give us at Funk and Filth vs Hot Cakes on May 10th!
Ed Solo - his set at Bestival May have been locked down after 20 minutes . . . But that's all he needs to show he's the shit!
James D'Ley - the innovative and enigmatic funkatech fella who can smash out an unforgettable set!
Krafty Kuts - erm, he's Krafty Kuts, I don't think we need to say anything more.
Mafia Kiss - potentially the biggest and fastest rising star in Bassland! Never kiss a Mafia Kiss!
Nick Thayer - Oz's finest funk merchant peddling his delicious wares worldwide!
Rennie Pilgrem - the legend that is Rennie Pilgrem! Only Krafty has won this award more times than him, and his monstrous set at the Funk and Filth Summer Party showed exactly why!

Breakthrough DJ
Sanxion made a massive impression on us in 2013, forcing his way into our Mix Of The Year Poll! But Kwerk is definitely one to watch too, fo shizzle! When it comes to breaks these boys are seriously hot property! See what the fuss is all about at Brixton Jamm on May 10th, where Kwerk will be joined by other rising stars and established fellas including Mass Evil, Mr Tumnus, Deekline, Freestylers, Floored Capri & Robi Wan, Doctor Hooka and loads more!

Best Large Event
Awesome stuff going on worldwide! Our short list includes European, Canadian, American and UK events, still not 100% sure where our vote is going!
Boomtown Festival UK
Burning Man US
Exit Festival Serbia
Shambhala. CA
Boardmasters UK
Best Small Event
The Elite Force Boat Party is always a beast of a night, and will be hard to beat in this category! Awesome setting on the Thames, the best DJs hand picked by Shack and, most importantly, one of the best crowds of people you're likely to meet on a night out! Summer 2013 also saw the first ever Funk and Filth Summer Party, which was a night of thunderous bass from DJs including the godfather of breaks Rennie Pilgrem! Can we challenge the big boat party on this one??
Best Website/Blog
We know you guys clearly have impeccabe taste when it comes to website and blogs, so we don't need to provide any recommendations ;)
Best Radio Station
Another extremely internationally competitive category! The Lost Art are representing stateside, and their live streams have been an ever-present accompaniment to activities at Funk and Filth HQ, but Russia's Radio Record also has some tasty output, and closer to home the Kane FM boys are smashing it, along with Rough Tempo and the delectable array of talent available all the time on NSB!
Kane FM
NSB Radio
Radio Record
Rough Tempo
The Lost Art
Best Radio Show
Repping NSB we have Doctor Hooka's Surgery as well as the monthly bassline masterclass from Fifties!
But the Kane FM boys are going to be hard to beat with Floored Capri and Robi-Wan's Floored Fillers Show and Turtle and The Fringe's Fresh From The Sewer dishing out massive portions of beatcake every week!
You know what! Let's call it a draw, and the winner can be decided on May 10th when we have Doctor Hooka and the Floored Fillers boys on the same line-up at Jamm! Who will emerge victorious!? ;)

Best Free Track
Our favourite category! :) Finding the best free tracks and dishing them out is what we are all about, so we were ecstatic when one of our Funk and Filth Exclusive Freebies took this award last year!
Current holder REL1 is in the running again with another Funk and Filth exclusive Re-Filth, but there are plenty more that are well worth grabbing hold of too!
Xilent - Boss Wave Funk and Filth Re-Filth
Freefall Collective - System Check
Disclosure & Sam Smith - Latch Mafia Kiss Edit
Slynk & SkiiTour - On Top

Best Live Act
When it comes to live performances you don't get much bigger than the Freestylers! But Slamboree have been touring around, dispensing breaks, beats, bass and other related lunacy in healthy doses, always to extatic crowds ! Any of these 4 would deservedly take the crown . . .
Freestylers
Slamboree
Dub Pistols
Born Ina Barn
